About The Beer:
The Mixologist
Railhouse Track 1 has a pleasant nutty flavor with a subtle almond after taste. It was a little too fizzy/carbonated. I would consider drinking this beer after showering from being in the sun all day. This is most decidedly not a chugging beer. (You will puke it if you chug it!) For the price, it's a decent beer. At most, it's $1.50 more per pint than something truly awful, like Bud Light. Overall, Railhouse Track 1 is moderately okay. This beer is a local micro-brew and I'm am curious to see (and try) any new brews the company creates.

Imagine if you will: a Newcastle Brown Ale, Blue Moon, and a Yuengling crawl into bed together. What comes out is as close to Railhouse Track 1 as I can imagine it being. This is not a bad beer by any stretch of the imagination. It is also not a amazing beer. It is a little hoppy up front in the taste with a nice nutty finish. In this aspect it is much like the Newcastle. I think that the carbonation was a little overpowering on this. I'd like to see them make some more efforts in the lager/porter vein of beer.
